About Multi Air
Our Story
Multi Air Service LLC is a family-owned HVAC and mechanical contracting company based in Pasadena, California. We've proudly served San Gabriel Valley since 2015, and we're still run by our founder.
Ricardo Ortega didn't set out to run an HVAC company. He actually started out working in the beer systems industry, where he learned the ins and outs of airflow, water-source cooling, and refrigeration equipment.
Watching a mechanic replace a compressor and earn in a single job what Ricardo made in an entire week, he decided it was time for a change. He enrolled at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College, earned his HVAC degree, and became a licensed contractor in 2015. That same year, he founded Multi Air.
In the years since, his company expanded to serve both homeowners and businesses in San Gabriel Valley. We hold a California C-20 HVAC contractor license (#1026812).
Even with our growth, Ricardo still does hands-on HVAC work, rather than staying behind a desk.

What is your dispatch fee?
We charge a $95 dispatch fee for diagnostic visits. That fee covers our technician's time to travel to your home or business and evaluate the problem.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We offer same-day appointments whenever our schedule allows, and we provide emergency service for heating and cooling problems that can’t wait. For routine service, we're open Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
What HVAC brands do you work on?
We specialize in Carrier systems, but we are experienced with nearly every major brand. This includes Payne, Bryant, Daikin, Rheem, Ruud, Lennox, Trane, York, and Goodman.
Do you offer any discounts?
We offer a military discount and a senior discount, along with price matching and free second opinions. We also run a referral program for customers who send new customers our way.
Do you provide emergency HVAC service?
Yes. We offer emergency service for heating and cooling breakdowns that can't wait until regular business hours. A broken AC in the middle of summer or a dead furnace in winter is never convenient, so we're available to help.
